Dr Saeed Jaydarifard

Research Fellow - Clincial Epidemiology

Dr Saeed Jaydarifard completed his PhD in Psychology at The University of Queensland in 2025. He is currently a Research Fellow in Clinical Epidemiology at the Centre of Research Excellence in Stillbirth, Mater Research Institute, the University of Queensland, where he leads and supports multidisciplinary projects focused on the intersection of behavioural science, epidemiology, and public health, with a strong focus on understanding health outcomes and risk factors using large-scale population datasets. His work spans longitudinal studies, experimental designs, large-scale surveys, and systematic reviews, and he has led more than 20 research projects over the past several years. He has strong expertise in advanced statistical analysis and data modelling, with extensive experience using R and Python.

Saeed has a proven track record in research translation. His work has been published in leading international journals across psychology, medicine, public health, and transport, and he has produced policy-relevant reports for government and non-government organisations. Having worked across multidisciplinary settings including psychology, public health, social science, and engineering, he brings a flexible and collaborative approach to research. He is committed to contributing to high-quality, impactful research that improves health outcomes and supports evidence-based practice.
