Research identifies strong leadership, shared vision, strategic and purposeful team building, clear communication, effective conflict management and agreed expectations as critical success factors. These principles will guide the conduct of the Stillbirth CRE and each of the four research priority areas.
Specific strategies will include leadership directed by well-defined work plans; regular meetings, both face-to-face and virtual; an annual meeting to coincide with a key conference such as PSANZ to share work within the Stillbirth CRE and beyond to attract new participants. PhD students and ECRs will also be encouraged to become actively involved in the Stillbirth CRE’s Workforce Capacity building committee, and the PSANZ Early Research Career development committee and/or its activities.
